Sometimes you’re alone in a city (on business) with just a few free hours to explore.
That was me, late last summer, in San Francisco.
Join me for postcards from my three-hour-tour of some of the iconic landmarks of the city by the Bay:
Learn more about the historic Streetcars and Cablecars of San Francisco.
Want to take the tour yourself? Check out my route here (and bring your walking shoes! This was an active afternoon, but it makes the most if you have a short time in the city.) If time allows you could also stop at many of these attractions – I recommend lingering through Chinatown, hopping a boat to tour Alcatraz, and stopping for some chowder on Fisherman’s Wharf – or hop an iconic Cable Car for a more passive, and historic, way to tour the city!
