You know when you promised to bring in baked goods, and suddenly its 8pm the night before and you’ve got nothing? Yup. That was me last night.
After briefly contemplating the prospect of buying a couple dozen Donut Holes, I buckled down and decided to solve this problem for all of us slackers. I present, for your tastebud’s pleasure, Mini Cinny Rolls. Fairly easy, total time less than 30 minutes (well, maybe 10 more minutes if you want to go the extra mile with the icing, which I highly recommend).
A note about me: I am known in some circles for my baked goods. And using anything pre-made is typically disdained. (Ready-made cookie dough? Not in my cookie jar!) But some situations call for extreme measures, and in this case it just made sense with the store-bought crescent roll dough.
These small cinnamon rolls were absolutely deliciously gooey hot out of the oven. But cooled and smothered with cream cheesy icing? Well, let’s just say its a good thing they’re tiny and pre-portion controlled!
